Category Cars

In the UK, insurance write-offs are classified by categories (A, B, S, and N) based on the level of damage sustained and the viability of repair. Category A and B vehicles are deemed unsafe and must not return to the road under any circumstances—Category A vehicles must be scrapped entirely, while Category B vehicles can be broken for parts but not driven again. Category S (Structural) and Category N (Non-Structural) cars, on the other hand, may be returned to the road if properly repaired.

At Souly Electric, we do not sell Category A, B, or S vehicles under any circumstance. We place a strong emphasis on customer safety, vehicle integrity, and long-term satisfaction. However, we do offer selected Category N cars, which have only suffered cosmetic or non-structural damage and are therefore safe to return to the road when correctly repaired.

Every Category N car sold by Souly Electric is repaired using original manufacturer parts and prepared in line with main dealer standards. Our internal checks ensure that all repairs meet high safety and performance expectations. Transparency is also key—customers are fully informed of the Category N status prior to purchase, and the repair history is openly disclosed for peace of mind.

By maintaining this strict standard, we offer an affordable yet reliable option for customers looking for well-priced vehicles that do not compromise on safety or quality.
